Moreover, if you wish for stable and well-built units, you can spend gold to get troops (life) for them. The more upgraded your cities, the better units you can build. The infantry is cheap and great at defense. The cavalry is in the middle and can move two spaces. The artillery unit can attack from distance, it is good at offense but bad at defense. Units are created in cities and can be sorted into three types: artillery, cavalry, and infantry. Collecting resources will keep your economy thriving, giving you the opportunity to build a strong army and fight against the opponents. Farmland and farm-related will give you food, which is expended by military units per turn, money and parts can be used to buy and upgrade units as well as cities or create fortifications. As many buildings are constructed, it is necessary that players have strategic plans to protect and preserve them completely intact.īy capturing land and cities, players have the ability to produce resources: food, money, and machine parts. To defeat the enemies, players can choose to build towns, seaports, armories, and many more. They will have to manage and maintain the economy as well as the military of their chosen country. When the players’ turn is completed, they will press a button to go to the next turn (although it is a bit tiny and hard to see). Furthermore, each campaign takes place in different locations in the world so that players will not feel repeated.Īs I have mentioned above, during the battle, players take turns to make a move so that they will get the most benefits out of the battle. In the first two, players can play as either France or the alliance fighting against France. There are in total six campaigns and two of which are unlocked from the start. ![]() The way units move is affected by the hexes’ terrain, and sometimes players are allowed to build new military units that can be captured. Each player will take their turn to play, and all they have to do is press the desired soldiers and choose the dot where they want them to go. The game is pretty simple to understand with a hex-based strategic style game. Players can control and lead the armies of any country they wish, such as France, Spain, or Britain, and each side has its own troops and special units. “European war 4: Napoleon” allows us to visit and learn about the conflicts set in America and Europe. It is a turn by turn-based strategy warfare game, which means each player will take his/her turn to make a move and ensure that the move will guarantee him/her the most benefit. ![]() The game takes place during the 18th and 19th centuries, and its map consists of countries from Europe, America, and Mediterranean Africa. This talk is intended to introduce some of the main tools of the field of numerical algebraic geometry, including homotopy continuation and the numerical irreducible decomposition. Whether testing conjectures in algebraic geometry or trying to solve polynomial systems for some application, numerical methods are sometimes a useful alternative to well-known symbolic algorithms.Numerical methods for working with polynomial systems. An important role will be played by algebro-geometric valuative criteria, which will be also used to link the relative K-stability to the genuine K-stability. The relative K-stability and the Kähler–Einstein metrics with prescribed singularities will then be related to each other through a Yau–Tian–Donaldson correspondence, which will be the core of the talk. A particular focus will be given to motivations and intuitions, making a comparison with the log K-stability/log Kähler–Einstein metrics. In the first part of the talk, partly motivated by the study of Kähler–Einstein metrics with prescribed singularities, a new relative K-stability notion will be introduced for a fixed smooth Fano variety. In the last decade, the latter has proved to be very valuable in algebraic geometry: for instance, it is used for the construction of moduli spaces. On a Fano variety, the Yau–Tian–Donaldson correspondence connects the existence of Kähler–Einstein metrics to an algebro-geometric notion called K-stability.A relative Yau–Tian–Donaldson conjecture and stability thresholds. This is joint work with Carolina Araujo, Roya Beheshti, Ana-Maria Castravet, Svetlana Makarova, Enrica Mazzon, and Nivedita Viswanathan. We'll present a classification of smooth projective toric varieties with m(X) ≥ dim(X)-2, and show that projective spaces are the only 2-Fano manifolds among smooth projective toric varieties with m(X) equal to 1, dim(X)-2, dim(X)-1, or dim(X). This invariant m(X) captures the minimal degree of a dominating family of rational curves on X or, equivalently, the minimal length of a centrally symmetric primitive relation for the fan of X. Motivated by the problem of classifying toric 2-Fano manifolds, we will introduce a new invariant for smooth projective toric varieties, the minimal projective bundle dimension, m(X). In particular we will focus on toric 2-Fano manifolds. In this talk we will discuss higher Fano manifolds, which are Fano manifolds with positive higher Chern characters. The minimal projective bundle dimension and toric 2-Fano manifolds. This is based on joint work with Long Pan and Haoyu Wu. ![]() This can be viewed as another example of Hassett–Keel–Looijenga program proposed by Laza–O'Grady. Moreover, we will show the K-moduli space P c K is isomorphic to certain log canonical model on Baily–Borel compactification of the moduli space of K3 surfaces with anti-symplectic involution. In particular, we will give an explicit description of K-moduli space P c K parametrizing K-polystable del Pezzo pairs (X,cC) under the framework of wall-crossing for K-moduli space due to Ascher–DeVleming–Liu. In this talk, we will discuss the compactifications from K-moduli theoretic side and its relation to Baily–Borel compactification from Hodge theoretic side. Their moduli space has many compactifications from various perspectives. A K3 surfaces with anti-symplectic involution can be identified with a pair (X,C) consisting of a del Pezzo surface X with a curve C ~ −2K X.K-moduli space of del Pezzo surface pairs.Recordings of talks are available on our YouTube channel. I monitor the fuel mixture and it is pretty stable around 14 as it should be and does not go +\- to much. I’ve driven a lot, today I took a 300 mile round trip drive and still not ready. I’m trying to get my truck smogged in CA and having a major pain in the ass with the fuel system it won’t complete, all other emissions are passed except the fuel system. I am considering flashing the PCM and starting over.Soooo. I don't think new O2 sensors will do anything. Obviously, more driving is not going to cure this one. When the fuel system monitor isn’t ready, the PCM can’t control the fuel injection, which leads to a cascade of additional issues. Let the car slowdown from 60 mph without using the brakes My rpm never went higher than 3000. Drive between 20 to 30mph for more than 3 min 3. I tried what is recommended in the document and it still didnt set. An outdoor fanatic frequently learns knapping. Archaeologists frequently undertake the job to better be familiar with how ancient stone tools were produced. Still, in modern society, the making of such tools is the field of experimental archaeologists and hobbyists. In societies that haven’t adopted metalworking skills, the making of stone tools by knappers is ordinary. Early natives who used flint to make tools frequently prospected these areas to discover nicely shaped flint pieces for making precise tools. Their existence depended upon having a long-lasting material that could be used to create sharp tools.įlint is extremely resistant to weathering and is frequently found as cobbles or pebbles beside streams and beaches. Wherever flint was not locally obtainable, people frequently traveled or traded to acquire premade tools or pieces of flint for industrialization purposes. The worth of flint for manufacturing sharp tools was found and exploited by Stone Age people in almost every early society where flint could easily be discovered. ![]() Early people acknowledged flint as a successful flint knapping material and have learned how to craft them into knife blades, scrapers, projectile points, axes, drills, and some other sharp tools. The conchoidal cracks of flint make it break into cutting pieces. Humans have applied flint to craft stone tools for at least two million years. These soft hammer methods also fabricate longer, thinner flakes, potentially promoting material conservation or a piece of lighter lithic equipment to be carried by itinerant societies. A soft hammer method permits a knapper to shape a stone into numerous scraping, cutting, and projectile tools. Soft hammer methods are more specific than hard hammer techniques of shaping stone. This manufacturing technique is understood to have been used to create some of the most primitive stone tools ever found, some of which have existed for more than 2 million years ago. Flint knappers can apply this method to get rid of broad flakes that can be turned into smaller tools. Early knappers and hobbyists replicating their methods regularly apply cobbles of extremely hard stone, the likes of quartzite. The hard hammer method is used to get rid of large flakes of stone. However, the EPA (exterior platform angle) indeed manipulates many qualities, such as thickness, length, and flakes extinction. The issues that have a say in the knapping results are varied. The early knappers might have used easy hammers made of antler or wood to form stone tools. There are lots of methods for shaping stone into valuable tools. This tool permits you to put more pressure on the stone’s side through added weight, and its suppleness lets you eliminate longer flakes. The Ishi stick is a lengthy, somewhat bendy stick with a copper nail set into one part. ![]() In some cases, the pointed tip must be completed with a semi-soft substance so that it will grab the edge of the stone. The pressure flakes may be a copper nail set or an antler tine into a wooden handle that is approximately the length of your palm and easy to grip. The two tools in this category are the pressure flakes along with Ishi’s stick. The second class of tools needed for flint knapping is used to apply pressure while practicing a pressure flaking method. They are made of copper, antler, stone, or solid wood. Billets are long, weighty as well as cylindrical. These comprise hammer (dense, round) billets and stones. The first tool utilized for striking is the method identified as percussion flaking. Pressure flaking [the pressure flakes and Ishi stick.Flint knapping tools can be divided into two classes. ![]() Security is #1 priority in development of Adminer.
